（民國95年）是教會舉辦的春季靈恩佈道會的時候到了，當時慕溪是幼稚園大班的小朋友。母親告訴他說：「慕溪呀！你雖然年紀小只有6歲；但是你知道嗎？想去天國的人，都必需要有聖靈才可以去。」媽媽認真的說著：「所以你要在靈恩會禱告的時候，努力的求主耶穌賞賜聖靈，爸爸和媽媽也會在後面幫你們禱告。」
慕溪聽完母親所說的話，自己也下定決心；「我一定要努力禱告，求聖靈。」
(Year 2006) It was time for the spring evangelical services and spiritual convocation at the church. I was in the senior kindergarten class at the time. My mom told me, “Muxi! Even though you are only 6 years old, but you know, all those who wish to go heaven must first receive the Holy Spirit.” My mom continued very seriously, “So you must ask hard for the Lord Jesus to grant you the Holy Spirit when you pray during the spiritual convocation. Daddy and mommy will also pray for you at the back.” After I heard her words, I made a determination: I must pray hard and ask for the Holy Spirit.
到了靈恩佈道會禱告的時候，慕溪和哥哥到講台前面去禱告，爸爸跟媽媽就在後面位子為他們禱告，這是靈恩會的第一天。第二天到了求靈恩的時候，慕溪很認真的求聖靈，此時他感覺自己很像得到聖靈。禱告結束後，林傳道問大家說；「得到聖靈的小朋友請舉手。」
When it was time for the prayer session during the first day of convocation, my brother and I went out to the front to pray, in the area before the pulpit. Our mom and dad stayed behind in the pews to pray for us. The next day when we were praying for spiritual blessings, I again earnestly asked for the Holy Spirit. At that time, I felt that I might have received the Holy Spirit. After the prayer ended, Preacher Lin asked everyone, “Are there any little children who have received the Holy Spirit? If so, please raise your hand!”
慕溪很開心地把手舉起來，可是他的個子太小，傳道並沒有看見，爸爸坐在位置上，以為我是開玩笑的，一直小聲地告訴我將手放下來，台下的大人也都小聲地笑著。回到家，我跟媽媽說：「我禱告的時候，舌頭真的不一樣了，可是大人們都不相信」，媽媽安慰我說：「沒關係，再努力禱告一定會有的」。
I happily raised my hand but because I was too short, the Preacher did not see me. My dad was sitting in the pews at the time and thought I was joking about having receiving the Holy Spirit, so he whispered to me to put my hand down. The other adults chuckled softly.
After we returned home, I told my mom, “When I prayed, I really felt my tongue was different, but none of the grownups believed me.” My mom consoled me saying, “It’s alright. As long as you try harder in your prayer, you will receive the Holy Spirit.”
到了靈恩會的第一天，也就是安息日的下午，我很努力的求著，禱告的時候我流淚的求著，但是很奇妙，我的心裡面一直感到很開心、很喜樂。禱告結束後，來協助的許奇英傳道，告訴我說：「你得到聖靈了」，這真是全世界最奇妙的一句話！我終於有票可以進天國了。
Then came the next day of the spiritual convocation, which was a Sabbath afternoon. I prayed earnestly and shed tears in my prayer. Miraculously, I felt very happy and joyful in my heart. After the prayer ended, Preacher Qi Ying Xu who came to assist during the event told me, “You have the Holy Spirit.” To me, this was the most wondrous statement in the entire world! I thought, “Finally, I have got the ticket to enter heaven!”
媽媽告訴我，我得到聖靈的那次禱告，她感覺到我們兄弟二人，其中一人會得到聖靈。
媽媽說：「神所賜的是出人意外的平安，幫大兒子求聖靈，祂卻賜給小兒子聖靈。」感謝神！因為凡事都有祂的美意。因為我年紀很小的時候，就得到主耶穌的恩典，所以，我一定要好好守住這個寶貴的聖靈。
My mom told me that during the prayer when I received the Holy Spirit, she felt that either my brother or I would receive the Holy Spirit.
My mom said, “God has given us peace that transcends understanding. I was praying for my eldest son to receive the Holy Spirit, but God has given the Holy Spirit to my younger son instead.” Thank God! For everything that happens is according to His good will.
Since I received the grace of the Lord Jesus at such a tender age, I must cherish and hold on to the precious Holy Spirit.
